Hey guys Emmi here, You’ve been reading about how I lost weight and lowered my sugar levels so I’m not diabetic anymore for weeks. Today I want to talk about all the other health benefits you can get from following the keto diet.
When you follow the keto diet you improve your mitochondrial function which is kinda like an energy factory for the cells in your body and better mitochondrial function means more energy for your body. Being on the ketogenic diet allows you to get the most out of your body so you can get the most out of your life.
The keto diet can also improve the way your brain functions because you’re giving it another form of energy to use like ketones. And those Ketones can reduce brain inflammation, and activate other health-promoting factors. Ketones can help keep your brain healthy and young.
When your living the ketogenic lifestyle it will also improve your sleep by improving the quality of sleep you get, by increasing the REM sleep stage. REM sleep affects a lot of different things in your body like your ability to handle stressful situations, how you learn and remember things not getting enough REM sleep can also cause migraines and weight gain. The keto diet may decrease the amount of time you spend asleep, but it can improve the quality of sleep you get because on the keto diet you sleep much deeper than you did before.
When the keto diet is followed correctly it can improve your health by reducing risk factors for diseases like high blood sugar and insulin levels, high cholesterol, high triglycerides to name just a few.
Thanks to my own journey, I’ve discovered it comes down to mindset and reducing all the confusion by having a clear cut plan. Because If you’re like me, you’ve been in a pattern and haven’t found a way out. You’ve established your routine and can’t seem to find a way out so you can start to feel better about yourself. It really sucks and I would know. I lived like that for a really long time. I got to the point I had lost all hope.
But now that I’ve successfully lost weight and feel better about myself, I am on a mission to help others on their Keto journey. Nothing lights my fire more than helping my community get results in their Keto journey. But Here’s the thing to get results you have to take ACTION.
