Steak Roulade with Herb & Butter

Prep Time: 10 Minutes      Cook Time: 20 Minutes


  • 8 Minute steaks (Sizzle steaks)
  • 8 tooth picks
  • 3 oz Cheddar cheese, cut into slices
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Leeks
  • 15 oz Mushrooms
  • 5 oz Seasoned butter
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil


  1. Cut mushrooms into wedges, rinse & slice the leeks both the green and white parts of the leek.
  2. Saute the mushrooms & leeks in the olive oil once they are tender put in a container & seal to keep warm
  3. Lay the steaks out & put a cheese slice on each one & roll up stick a toothpick in it to keep it closed
  4. Saute the steaks over medium heat 10-15 minutes or until steak is cooked to your liking lowering the heat to low for the last 3-5 minutes
  5. Plate the mushroom & leeks
  6. Pour juices from frying pan over veggies on the plate
  7. Remove toothpicks from the steaks and place over the veggies & serve.
