Mmm . . . there’s truly nothing like a morning coffee. My Keto Wakeup Call
In 2017, I was given a wake-up call.
Lower my sugar levels, or stay on the path I was on . . . and be diagnosed with diabetes and put on diabetes medication.
At first, I was overwhelmed. How did I let myself get to this point? With a busy life and needy family, I had lost sight of what mattered most -- my own health. How could I support others if my body literally could not even support my own weight?
I had tried what felt like EVERY diet on the planet prior to being given this pre-diabetic “ultimatum” by my doctor . . . Nothing worked until I discovered Keto.
My life was radically changed! I side-stepped those medical scares and now had the tools to continue my healthy lifestyle . . . except one . . .
If you made it this far, then you must love coffee as much as I do! The problem? Creamers are the OPPOSITE of keto-compliant . . . and YUCK -- every “keto-friendly” creamer I tried tasted awful and was chalky or chunky.
The ones that were slightly palatable had macros closer to meal replacements . . . I’m a 2 to 3 cup a day kinda gal!
